Sacrificio della Cera
Dorme la forma in un guscio di terra,
un vuoto d’aria attende il suo destino.
La cera piange, scivola via lenta,
lasciando il passo al soffio del camino.
Poi viene il rimbombo, il ruggito dell’oro,
il bronzo che ribolle, fiume incandescente,
che corre nel buio, occupa ogni poro,
e sposa l’argilla, tenacemente.
C’è un silenzio sospeso, un calore che morde,
mentre il liquido acceso si fa testamento;
ciò che era fragile, carne o corde,
diventa scultura, sfida ogni vento.
Quando la crosta infine si spezza,
tra polvere e fumo rinasce la luce:
non è più un sogno, né una carezza,
ma il bronzo che al tempo non si riduce.
Un racconto di fuoco, materia e trasformazione, dove la tecnica incontra l’anima del fare artistico. È in questo dialogo tra gesto antico e visione creativa che prende forma l’identità della Fonderia Di Giacomo di Napoli.

Sacrifice of the Wax
The form sleeps inside a shell of earth,
an empty breath awaits its destiny.
The wax weeps, slowly slipping away,
making room for the breath of the furnace.
Then comes the echo, the roar of gold,
the bronze that boils, a glowing river,
rushing through the darkness, filling every pore,
and joining with the clay, tenaciously.
There is a suspended silence, a biting heat,
while the burning liquid becomes a testament;
what once was fragile, flesh or strings,
becomes sculpture, defying every wind.
When at last the crust breaks apart,
through dust and smoke the light is reborn:
it is no longer a dream, nor a caress,
but bronze that does not yield to time.
A story of fire, matter, and transformation, where technique meets the soul of artistic creation.
It is in this dialogue between ancient gesture and creative vision that the identity of Fonderia Di Giacomo of Naples takes shape.
